SS Inchkeith Wreck Dive Site At Havelock AKA Swaraj Dweep
Description:- In March 1955, A cargo vessel Named SS Inchkeith carrying coal and timber got stuck in the rocks and sunk in the Andaman Sea near Duncan Island. Over the years, SS Inchkeith evolved into a popular wreck dive site and wreck diving at this site gives an air of mystery due to its lower visibility.
Nowadays, the sunken wreck is home to numerous species of marine life and some delightful coral reefs. A large propeller on the stern is a great underwater sighting that sits upright at 18 meters of depth. While the bow of the ship is tilted towards the starboard making the hatch and cargo hold precisely visible. The dive site is located on the west of Havelock Island at a distance of 20 kilometers near Duncan Island.
Topography:- Wreck lying on the sandy bottom
Dive Level (Suitable for):- The wreck dive site is suitable for certified divers i.e. open water divers and advanced adventurers.
Best Time To Scuba Dive:- October to May ( 5:10 am till 11:30 am )

Regularly spotted marine species:- Bannerfish, Triggerfish, Parrotfish, Trumpetfish, Barracuda, Grouper, Sweetlips, Snapper, Rainbow Wrasse, Ghost Pipefish, Reef fish, Scorpionfish, Boxfish, Pufferfish, Surgeonfish, Angelfish, Pipefish, Clownfish, Sweetlips, Grouper, Lionfish, Ornate ghost pipefish, and many more.
Occasionally spotted marine species:- Squid, Humphead parrot fish, Lionfish, Octopus, Dolphins, Marble Rays, Crocodile fish, and many more.
Popular coral species:- Fan coral, Cauliflower coral, Larger star coral, Valley coral, Mushroom coral, sea anemones, Sea Urchin, and many more.
Cost of scuba diving at SS Inchkeith Wreck!
Price per person for 2 dives: INR 15000 + 18% GST ( open water diver or above qualified ).
Note:- 2 dives are mandatory to scuba dive at SS Inchkeith Wreck.
