Paddle along the mangroves
The pristine waters make it possible to see some exciting life forms found in nature, both underwater and in the mangrove trees, while sitting on a kayak. The kayaking trips go along the edge of the mangroves from where you can see a large variety of birds that inhabit these areas as well as the juvenile of many fish that hide between the roots of the mangrove trees for their protection.
Until the young ones of fish are old enough to defend themselves from predators, they hide out in the shallow waters and can be seen while you paddle along. There is also an option to go on a night kayaking trip wherein you can see specks glowing in the water as you move the paddle caused by bioluminescent plankton. If you manage to look away from this sight and look up, you’ll see a sky full of stars and often even the milky way. Try Night Kayaking in Andaman to witness an unimaginable ocean experience.
It’s a lot easier to go kayaking than you might think. A short training session will teach you everything you need to know before you get started on the trip. You have the option to paddle alone or share a two-person kayak to reduce the effort of using the paddle.
