About Juvis Dive Site At Havelock AKA Swaraj Dweep

Description: – Juvis dive site Havelock is a popular shallow coral reef for non-certified divers to explore the charm of vibrant marine species. The dive site rests close to the shoreline of John Lawerence Island and approximately 7 kilometers away from the training point of Beach-03, Govind Nagar, Havelock Island. The reef starts from 4 meters and slopes to the rocky bottom to 12 meters.

The reef is just a 10-minute boat ride away from the practice point. The tranquil transparent waters and shallow reefs are equally suitable for snorkeling activities too. The dive site is known for its unique species of potato coral which occupy around 500 meters of the reef. You can also spot staghorn corals and cauliflower corals at multiple spots of the dive site. Visiting reef sharks is the site’s major attraction that shouldn’t be missed during your underwater expedition.

Dive Level (Suitable for):- Beginners and non-swimmers, students of diving course, open water diver ( certified divers ), and adventurer diver.

Best Time To Scuba Dive:- October to May ( 5:10 am till 11:30 am )

Regularly spotted marine species:- Butterfly Fish, Bannerfish, Trevally, Giant Groupers, Sweetlips, Rabbitfish, School of snappers, Parrotfish, Triggerfish, Pufferfish, Sea cucumber, and many more. 

Occasionally spotted marine species:- Squid, Humphead parrot fish, Lionfish, barracuda fish, Crocodile fish, and many more.

Popular coral species:- Potato coral, Mushroom coral, Stag horn coral, Cauliflower coral, Sea Urchin, and many more.

Non-Certified Divers:- INR 5000 + 18% GST per person ( beginners & non-swimmers ).

Certified Divers:- INR 2500 + 18% GST ( open water diver or above qualified ).
