Scuba Diving at Jackson’s Bar, Havelock Island
Jackson’s Bar Dive Site At Havelock AKA Swaraj Dweep
Description:- Jackson’s Bar Havelock Island dive site looks like a mystifying plateau that emerged from the ocean floor. The topography of Jackson’s Bar forms like a flat rocky Shelf where a stunning variety of coral reefs slopes down to the sandy bottom beyond the depth of 30 meters. The dive site is named after a local divemaster Jackson’s Bar who discovered the reef.
The reef is a regular hunting ground for pelagics due to its unique location and strong currents that run perpendicular to the site. Scuba divers are expected to see schools of Bengal snappers, Andaman sweetlips, Barracudas, Tuna, Manta & Eagle rays, and White tip reef sharks.
