Scuba Diving at The Bus Stop at Neil Island

The school of glass fish

The Bus Stop Dive Site At Neil Island

Description:- Bus Stop is a famous dive site for certified divers around the world. It is located 3 kilometres west of Neil Island. The site works as a convergent point for popular species of reef fish.

The topography of the reef describes it as a gently sloping reef with patches of soft corals. Divers can spot a beautiful formation of rocks to the north while a small downward-sloping plateau lies on the western part of the reef.

There is little to explore at the top of the slope but as soon as you navigate to the deeper edges, you get to witness massive and branching types of corals on the sandy bottom of the reef.

Garden eels and blue-spotted stingrays can be spotted resting on the sandy bottom, while lobsters peep out from narrow rocks. The depth varies between 13 to 20 meters or beyond at Bus Stop Reef.

Topography:- Fringing Reef

Dive Level (Suitable for):- Students of open water diver courses, open water certified divers, and advanced adventurer divers.

Best Time To Scuba Dive:- October to May ( 7:30 am till 2:30 pm )
