What are you going to experience?

You are going to experience more than your expectations while scuba diving Andaman islands. After training, our dive crew takes you to the dive site and lets you make back roll entry from the boat to enter into the water. We do provide boat dives (deep dives) and take you a maximum of 12 meters deep for the activity. Your divemaster will hold you from the back and start to descend slowly. It is recommended to recap all hand signals before going underwater. You will see multiple species of coral reefs, fishlife, and other sea animals during your dive. One additional divemaster will be there to capture your memorable moments in form of photos and videos. We use the latest GoPro 10 cameras for your photography and videography. The dive time will fluctuate as per the selection of your dive package.

FAQs

Common FAQ for try scuba dive

Is swimming mandatory for scuba diving?

Not at all, Swimming is not a prerequisite for Andaman and Nicobar scuba diving. We insist you not swim while diving, even if you know swimming. Every participant is personally accompanied by a divemaster who will hold you with your tank throughout the dive.

Age limit

There are also some age restrictions as everyone is not eligible to undertake recreational scuba diving. People below 8 years and above 52 years are not eligible for scuba diving. However, people with an age limit of 52 to 55 years may go diving provided they produce a medical certificate indicating fit to dive from their physician.

Is it safe?

Scuba diving is an extremely safe underwater sport provided you follow all the instructions and safety measures communicated by your dive master. We have professional and SSI-certified dive masters to let you experience a seamless adventure.

Medical and health restrictions

You must be physically and mentally fit to try scuba diving in Andaman. People suffering from or taking medications on a daily basis for the following health conditions are not eligible for scuba diving.

Ear infection, ear surgery, eardrums, equalization problems, etc
Asthma, diabetes, pregnancy, and, breathing problems
Sugar, low & high blood pressure
Undergone recent surgery within a period of 6 months
Blackouts, strokes, nervous system failure
Pregnancy, heart strokes, phycological issues
Taking medication daily basis for prescribed medical conditions

How do we conduct scuba diving in Havelock?

Andaman scuba diving is a recreational and disciplined watersport and requires a mandatory practical training session to join the program. Govind Nagar beach 3 is the training point to learn and practice all the necessary skills for diving. The activity is conducted under the supervision of professional divemasters who accompany every participant independently.
